In May 2025, Ashleigh completed the Leeds Half Marathon to fundraise for Peter’s Fund.
Peter’s Fund was established in memory of our late colleague Peter Richards, who sadly passed away in 2020. It helps people who have multiple disadvantage and are homeless or who are at risk of becoming homeless across Leeds.
From the initial donations made by friends and family of Peter, to the inaugural Peter Richards Memorial Football Tournament, Peter's Fund has raised over £6,500. This has enabled us to provide vital resources, including laptops and other tech for people to complete training courses, seek employment and receive counselling online, clothes for families and children, transport for people to get to vital appointments and delivery charges for household essentials such as cookers, washing machines and other white goods.
