Complex Needs Worker – Job Ref EL005

We are looking for a motivated, experienced Complex Needs Workers to take on the role of providing a housing related support package to people with challenging issues in their lives such as mental ill-health, offending, drug and alcohol dependency, a history of homelessness etc. This posts delivers support across the city as part of the Engage Leeds service. There are 3 Complex Needs Workers as part of the service and each will be based within a team covering one of the 3 Leeds wedges, as well as forming a collective resource and advice source to the other housing support staff.
Early Intervention and Prevention Worker – Job Ref FL020
End Date: Monday 24th of September 2018 at 09.00 am
We are looking for someone with knowledge and experience of working with individuals who are experiencing problems with their alcohol or substance use and need advice, support and interventions that help them tackle their substance/ alcohol use. They will carry a case load of clients with an expectation of delivering positive changes to client’s lives through short-term focussed work.
The role also involves going out and promoting the service and raising awareness of issues around drugs and alcohol with the general public. This will be through events such as local community events, within the Night Time Economy, and other public facing venues and arenas. The candidate will need to be engaging and comfortable with approaching and talking to members of the public and delivering opportunistic brief interventions. Evening and some weekend work will be required.
Stronger Families Keyworker – Job Ref CYP038

We are looking for a skilled family keyworker who has or would like to develop their advocacy, promotion and networking skills with a view to increase referrals
We are looking for candidates who:
- Are skilled in recognising and addressing multiple barriers to employment, education or training and have experience in this area of work.
- Have significant experience in assessing and planning interventions for families facing multiple barriers to employment with positive outcomes
- Have the skills to use restorative approaches to help improve the lives of local families and support individuals back to work.
- Have the ability to co-ordinate and manage a caseload and monitor, assess, action plan, report and record accurately and in a timely manner in accordance with the roles’ requirements.
- Have skills in advocating on behalf of the programme
- Can build relationships with key referral agencies in order to communicate and promote the programme effectively
Stronger Families Administrative Assistant – Job Ref CYP039

We are looking for an administrative assistant to support the Operational Hub and partners for Leeds. We are looking for someone with experience of working on ESIF or Big Lottery projects and preferable experience of working with third sector partners who support clients with multiple needs as well as skills in triaging referrals, checking eligibility criteria and financial monitoring as well as the use of social media, communications and marketing.
