Identify and measure the impact of Barca-Leeds.
Barca has won Impact for Growth funding from the Social Investment Business in order to map and measure the impact that our services have. Barca has just developed a new three year strategy and we deliver a wide range of services operating in different areas from youth work to social prescribing, complex needs, housing support, employment, counselling, community engagement and much more. We need to understand the combined impact that these services have so that we can use this knowledge to continue improving our services and to explain what we do to others, including the Board, SMT, staff teams, clients and commissioners and future funders.
We are seeking a person with experience of time limited project work, gathering, sorting and managing quantitative and qualitative information, facilitating workshops or focus groups and knowledge of evaluation or research methodologies.

WYFI Navigator – Job Ref HW035

The West Yorkshire Finding Independence (WY-FI) project aims to improve the lives and wellbeing of people with the most entrenched multiple needs who don’t engage in services, revolve in and out of services or are excluded from services.
Navigators will be working in an outreach capacity to help support people who experience 3 or more complex needs (homelessness, substance misuse, re-offending behaviour and/or mental ill-health) to access the services and interventions they needs build their resilience, gain confidence and acquire the personal and social assets they need to meet their aspirations.
Navigators will be working with individuals who may have a history of convictions for serious offences who are at a high risk of reoffending. Navigators will be exposed to individuals with challenging behavioural issues that may make it difficult for them to establish relationships at any level.
Youth Worker – Job Ref CYP032
End Date: Tuesday 12th of June 2018 at 12:00 Noon
The service is commissioned to work with children and young people aged 5-17 years in a variety of settings within the Bramley and Stanningley ward. The service offers access to positive activities, sexual health, voice and influence and preventative issue based groups.
As part of the Children and Young People’s team this post involves working with young people in their community to deliver focussed activates of young people’s choice. This is a targeted service for focussing on estates with limited opportunity for young people.

Trustee (non-paid volunteer)
Barca-Leeds are looking for a Trustee to assist in leading the charity on a non-paid voluntary basis to work closely with the Board of Trustees, Chief Executive Officer and the Senior Management Team. Ideally, the preferred candidate would have experience of operating within a board in a charitable, public sector or commercial organisation.
We have volunteering opportunities for both diploma graduates and students. Students need to be in their second year of the diploma and have a minimum of 50 hours counselling client work under clinical supervision.
